Chat widget disclosure

Our website chat assistant is powered by an AI language model. When you use the chat widget:

Your conversation is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses.
The full conversation transcript is automatically submitted to the PGS team by email when the conversation ends, when you close the widget, or after a period of inactivity.
By initiating a conversation, you consent to this processing.
Do not share sensitive personal, financial, or confidential business information in the chat that you would not otherwise send by email.

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:

Legitimate interests — responding to project enquiries and business development communications.
Consent — chat widget conversations, where you initiate contact and are informed of data processing at the point of use.
Legal obligation — where required by applicable law in the US or Nigeria.

How we use your data

We use personal data solely to:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

Inquiry and chat data is retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, after which it is deleted unless an active business relationship requires longer retention. CVs and recruitment data are retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.

Third-party processors

We use the following third-party services that may process personal data on our behalf:

Netlify — website hosting and form processing (USA)
Anthropic — AI processing of chat conversations (USA)
Plausible Analytics — cookieless website analytics (EU)

Each processor operates under its own privacy policy and applicable data protection agreements.
